Garlicky Broccoli Rabe

I was cooking for myself tonight, and the great thing about cooking for just yourself is that you can have the wierdest combinations on the plate, and as long as your happy…who cares? I had bought some salmon (man, I love salmon), and went to the grocery store and saw broccoli rabe on sale. I haven’t made broccoli rabe in ages, and I love it , and it’s so good for you, so…game on! Miso Marinated Cod

Wild Alaskan Cod was on sale at the grocery store the other day. I have this easy and tasty recipe that I use with black cod, but black cod can be tough to find, so I thought hey, why not try it on regular cod? It worked great. The only thing is that you have to let it marinate for 24 hours. If you’re pinched for time then at least give it 4 hours in the marinade. Roasted Tomatoes

I was going through my camera and came across this picture. It was when I was down in the Caribbean doing that yacht charter in December. I used it as a healthy and light “sauce” for roasted Halibut. Chicken Curry

I have been making some soups and other not too exciting stuff lately because my friend wasn’t feeling good. Well, her health was back, so it was time to unleash the fury again. I hadn’t made curry in a long time and had some chicken breast that I needed to use so it was on! I also made a brown rice-barley pilaf, but any steamed rice would be fine.
